About Us

Vision

A zero-waste secondhand fashion system that centers community & climate.

Purpose

Our current fashion system is experiencing a textile waste crisis. Most unwanted clothing in the US becomes a part of the global secondhand clothing supply chain, ending up in landfills and piling up on beaches around the world. This is the ecological price of overconsumption and the shortened life-span of clothing produced under fast fashion cycles.

The Clothing Cycle empowers consumers to take ownership of their unwanted clothing. Through localizing clothing sorting, hosting clothing upcycling workshops, and responsibly redistributing unwanted clothing to local community groups, we keep clothing out of the global waste stream.

Mission

The Clothing Cycle keeps clothing out of the global waste stream by building a consumer community that takes on fashion without harming people, animals, or the planet. We circulate secondhand clothing through clothing swaps, upcycling workshops, and mutual aid distribution. The clothing in our shop is sourced from our clothing swap events and community donations.

The Clothing Cycle's shop includes curated secondhand, vintage, and one-of-a-kind upcycled clothing.

Angelica Village

An intentional living community (website)

At Angelica Village, we encourage everyone to give what you can and receive what you need. We recognize that each person has inherent value and worth, and can contribute to community living in unique ways. We challenge the power imbalances present in typical social services by building a community network of care that empowers members to mutually support one another.

Women in Sustainability

We bring together ALL women and allies who are passionate about environmental sustainability. (website)

The environmental movement has not always been inclusive. We’re committed to changing that. We cannot talk about climate justice without talking about social justice so we must have ALL voices at the table to face the reality of how the climate crisis has impacted our communities and how best to create meaningful change that benefits all groups including, BIPOC, LGBTQIIA+, people with disabilities, and anyone who’s felt left out of the sustainability conversation.

Off the Bottle Refill Shop

OTB offers a wide variety of sustainable and biodegradable Home & Body products, both locally-made and internationally-sourced. (website)

Off the Bottle Refill Shop, in the heart of Denver’s Capitol Hill neighborhood, is a modern refillery with an old-world feel. Our mission is to offer alternatives to single use plastic consumption by refilling customers' already existing containers with non-toxic, eco-friendly home and body products.

Nude Foods Market

In the beginning, food was nude. We grew food. We ate it. We shared it with our communities. (website)

Then a bunch of things got in between us and the foods that we love. Things like bags, containers and distance. A future where the best, most locally sourced, kind to the environment, and crave-worthy food is available in one convenient location. The Future of Food is Nude.

The Alliance Center
