From the Founder
Hi! My name is Katessia or Tess. I started The Clothing Cycle from my college dorm room in 2020 as a reselling business on Depop and now here we are! We transitioned to a completely community sourced business model in 2023. Currently, the secondhand fashion system in the global north causes massive amounts of harm, and exports "unwanted" clothing to the global south. But, this clothing is a resource. It can be shared with people who need it or repurposed to make something new and fashionable. The Clothing cycle is curating the future of fashion, the future of vintage, and the future of our planet through cataylzing a zero-waste secondhand fashion system in the US.
